About Caring Transitions of Northwest Oklahoma City and Edmond
Liz Donnelly

Life’s transitions always bring their own set of challenges, but if
you’re trying to relocate, downsize, clear the home of a loved one who has
passed or have an estate sale, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m Liz Donnelly
and I opened Caring Transitions because I have a passion for helping people
live better lives.
I am a fourth generation Oklahoman and I’ve lived in the Oklahoma City
area for more than 35 years. I retired from Oklahoma City University in 2015
after more than 30 years, most recently as the acting vice president for
student affairs. After that, I worked in university relations and residence
life for Campus Living Villages.
I spent my career helping people through transitions. At the university,
I worked one on one with students to help them go from being freshmen to
sophomores to graduates. At Caring Transitions, we work with seniors and busy
families instead of students, but it’s still all about easing a sometimes
challenging transition and helping people start a new chapter.
Caring Transitions’ services are perfect for seniors moving in with
family or into a safer living situation as well as busy families and people
clearing out the home of a loved one who has passed. All of Caring Transitions’
services are customizable, so clients only pay for the services they need –
whether that means managing the entire move and estate-clearing or just getting
someone resettled into their new place.
I am a graduate of San Diego State University, Oklahoma City University
and Oklahoma State University. I am a member of Leadership Oklahoma City and
Christ the King Church. My husband Bill and I have two adult children – Mary, a
local artist, and Will, who works in the oil industry.
I decided to franchise with Caring Transitions because they’ve been in
business since 2006 and they have the experience and business support we wanted
in order to be able to provide the best customer experience possible.
